Welcome to the Butte des Morts Elementary School. As the parent of a child, you are automatically a member of the PTO and a two hour commitment should be made to the PTO every year. The PTO is only as good as the parent participation, without parent participation, there is no PTO. Our meetings are open and everyone is encouraged to participate in the decision making of events sponsored by the PTO.

The PTO is committed to making the school year a productive and positive experience for everyone. Parent involvement not only increases the achievement and self-esteem of our children, but also benefits the school, teachers, staff, and community.

The PTO welcomes and encourages all parents to attend meetings and become active participants. If your schedule does not permit you to attend the meetings, please feel free to contact a PTO officer.

There are many ways for you to help out during the day or evening: some would include health screenings, cookie and cider day, Deck the Halls, cooking for conferences, teacher appreciation week, fund raisers and many more.
