Maplewood Middle School's National Junior Honor Society
Web Page
It's time to start thinking about NJHS Maplewood! Students at Maplewood Middle School have the opportunity to be inducted in the National Junior Honor Society. In order to be considered for induction, the students must be in seventh or eighth grade, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above, be a positive role model both in and out of school, and have the support from their teachers. Once the above criteria are met, the child will receive a letter and student information sheet. He/she must prove that he/she demonstrates the qualities of leadership, service, character, and citizenship by listing activities, clubs, musical groups, etc. and major accomplishments. National Junior Honor Society Members from the previous year must complete THREE service activities in order to be inducted for a second year. Click here for more information on the service projects! Service projects offered this year are listed here: Unicef (already passed due), Library Helpers (already chosen), Salvation Army Bell Ringing, Babysitting (See Mrs. Rankin), Brown Bags (See Mr. Wittmann), Benefit Concert (See Mrs. Heller), and Homeless Shelter (See Mrs./Frau Flenz). For more information, click on the "service projects" link! Calendar of Events
