FIRE ENGINE—The Fire Engine purchased by the village arrived here on Wednesday last, and was received by the Company at the dock. The boys exhibited it around town, and made several trials during the day. It works well, and is every way satisfactory to the Company. This is the only fire engine between Fond du Lac and Green bay—neither Oshkosh, Neenah or Appleton possessing one. Menasha is always ahead, and our Fire Company cannot be beat by any in the State.

In the evening the firemen and Village Trustees had a good time around a sumptuous repast at Bishop’s Hall. Many good things were said, and everything passed off finely.
