Big Travel on the Interurban

Doubtless if any one of the people who are opposed to the Interurban Electric Railway had stood at a given point along the line yesterday for a reasonable length of time he would have been surprised. Many such declared that the line would not be a paying investment. Yesterday was cool and the travel was not so heavy as usually on a Sunday, but there seemed to be a change of population every thirty minutes and as heretofore there were more Appleton people in than Menasha and Neenah people out. The car "Menasha" carried over 1300 people yesterday and it is estimated that the four cars carried over five thousand persons.
