An Evolving Process
The Menasha Joint School District will utilize Career Cruising software to house each student’s individual Academic Career Plan or ACP. The base to each student finding success in creating an effective ACP as they move through school is going to be dependent upon strong adult mentoring from their families, school staff, and student service team members. The process of developing an ACP starts as exposure at the elementary level and gradually builds and is documented in middle and high school. There is expected and supported change as each student gains life experiences. When a young adult graduates, they will have a plan and back-up plan to support their transition to the post secondary world.
